A BSF jawan was killed, and several others were injured after a BSF Bolero collided with a bus on the Alipurduar-Cooch Behar road. The Bolero was severely damaged, and the bus also sustained major impact. The deceased jawan has been identified as Hari Om Prakash. Four other BSF personnel, including a doctor, are undergoing treatment, while a senior BSF officer remains in critical condition.
Sources confirmed that the accident led to significant injuries among the personnel. Authorities have launched an investigation, and emergency teams reached the spot to transport the injured to the hospital. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
